Hello everyone! I hope you’re having a wonderful and restful weekend. Today, I’m not exactly sharing all cards, but a combination of a few things. This past weekend, I hosted a bridal shower for my future daughter-in law at my home, along with her sister and stamped many of our decorations. Although it was a very hot day, it was just perfect and beautiful!
This is what our shower invitation looked like. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but it’s purple and white. I used the Gate Fold Card Die Set by The Stamps of Life, here.
I used Sizzix/SB Banner Dies and stamped them to make my card basket.
No stamping here, but we wrapped all of the silverware in napkins and paper doilies:)
I decorated pre-cut banners too with computer generated words, doilies and a flower punch.
I used the same Scalloped Circle Die (see shower favor photo above for link) to make beverage signs.
I also decorated some burlap with some old time high school pictures of my son and soon to be daughter-in-law. They have been together for 11 years…all through high school, college and then some!
I die cut some felt flowers, and who doesn’t love old Scrabble Game tiles?
We had some games too! My soon to be daughter-in -law’s sister put these together.
And here’s a few more pictures of our special day:)
The beautiful bride to be on the left, with her beautiful sister!Even the neighbor’s dog, Bella, wanted in on the fun and swam across the lake to get there!
Great food, fun, family and friends<3
And last of all….my sister Tracey, who was my photographer for the day!
As of today, all of our wedding invitations are all handstamped and out in the mail. We’re all so excited for the BIG day, right around the corner!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I truly appreciate ALL visits, questions and comments! Until the next time… Happy Stamping!
