Happy Tuesday, everyone! It’s a beautiful fall day here in New England, and I hope it is where you are, too! A couple of days ago the Good Times Collection Card Kit was released and it is super cute, jam packed with lots of fun stamps, a die, papers and embellishments!
I had so much fun creating cards using it, and still have more ideas swirling around in my head for more!
Here’s a little peek of what’s included in the kit, but for a better look, you can watch Stephanie’s video here!
Here’s a look at what I made using this kit:)
I love this “Good Times” die and sentiment. To me, it has so much meaning! I see the joy everyday in those”little things” through the eyes of my Kindergarteners I teach everyday… Somewhere along the way, we lose that innocence and joy over those little things as we get older! It’s a great reminder for all of us, I think.
To create the “shadow look” of this card, I first die cut foam adhesive, then cut it again using the matching patterned paper and adhering it to TSOL double stick foam adhesive. I used Sizzix Word Circle Set to die cut “laugh”. Super easy, but a fun card, I think!
Another great sentiment in the set! The heart stamp and tags are not included in the set. The stamp is called heartstamp4Sidekick and the tags are from Sizzix Tags and Word Stamps and Dies. I love these burlap like banners and heart from the kit!
In addition to the kit, I used TSOL Scalloped Rectangles, TSOL Rectangle Dies and Sizzix Birds and Tree Stamps and Dies. And yet another great sentiment!
For this card, I used Sizzix Flower Basket Thinlits Die Set, turkeypudgie8 (for the pumpkins) and Sizzix Happy Thanksgiving 3-D Drop-ins Sentiments to die cut my leaves.
Lastly, I have a birthday card to share that I made for a childhood friend.
Along with the “GOOD TIMES” die, I also used Sizzix Triplits cake.
The sentiment is another fun one included in the kit. I also used the recently released Celebrate Drop-in die to create the “pop-up” CELEBRATE, TSOL Stitched Oval Dies, TSOL Quirky Number Dies and TSOL Stitched Star Dies.
As I said, these cards were so much fun to make. One of the great things about the card kits are that you don”t even have to think about coordinating inks, papers or embellishments…. Stephanie has done it all for you! You also don’t have to combine other stamps or dies, as I did, because you can make beautiful cards with just the supplies in your card kit.
Everything I used to create my cards can be found at The Stamps of Life.
Thanks for stopping by today. I truly appreciate ALL visits, questions and comments! Until the next time…. Happy Stamping!
