LIMITED EDITION Turkey Fold-it- The Stamps of Life

Hello!  There’s something exciting happening today at The Stamps of Life! A LIMITED EDITION Turkey Fold-it Card Die Set is being released… exclusive to The Stamps of Life and once it’s gone, it’s gone!  I LOVE shaped cards and making them!

This little guy is sooo cute!

I dressed my turkey with a pilgrim hat using Snowman Die Set and Happy Thanksgiving from Sizzix Happy Thanksgiving 3-D Drop-ins Sentiments . I used Glossy Paper and blended Tangerine ink  and Green Apple ink for a “shine” to my feathers and finished it off cardstock and patterned paper.

This time, I paired the turkey with another fold-its… Sizzix Pumpkin Fold-its (another favorite of mine) I die cut Banana felt using the NEW Large Bow Dies.  I finished my card off with the Grateful Kit Club Dies. I think this could be used for either a card OR as a decoration….

Right away,  when I received this set I thought of place settings!  I come from a very large family and thought of how fun and festive these turkeys would be in front of everyone’s place setting… The alphabet dies in foxes2stamp are just the right size and perfect to personalize!

I made this fun owl card!

I used Sizzix Dotted Ovals on my card base along with  owlpudgie 7 to create my branches. I also used Sizzix Happy Thanksgiving 3-D Drop-ins Sentiments for my leaves.

I embellished the inside using YAY Card Kit Die and the Celebrate Word Die.

Sizzix Card Flowers Drop-ins -The Stamps of Life

There’s a beautiful Drop-in that has been released at The Stamps of Life! Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Card Flowers Drop-ins is a standard A2 card die  full of gorgeous flowers and comes with four different dies!

It’s so versatile and beautiful!

Here I used a few different Stamps of Life papers, added “hello” using the Sizzix Word Circle #2 Set e Sizzix Word Circle #2 Set  embelished, and had a quick and easy elegant card!

For a completely different look, I made this card:

This time, I paper pieced all the cut out flowers and added a border using Sizzix Edgelits Scallops and Zig Zags and the Thank You Circle Die Set

Leaf Dies & Phrases4Stephanie- The Stamps of Life

Hello! I have some new stamp and die sets to share from The Stamps of Life!

 Fall is definitely in the air….  Perfect timing for the new leaf dies that have been released .  Phrases4Stephanie is another release that combines birthdays and thank yous!

Here’s a card I made using the leaf dies paired with the Grateful word die.

I love the layered look of the leaves and that they come in the various sizes!

phrases4Stephanie is so much fun and versatile!

I paired it with scribbles2stamp and the little heart on the corner is from Fancy Hearts and Spiros Dies.

Monkey Pudgie- The Stamps of Life

Hello and Happy Friday!  It’s a release day at The Stamps of Life and one of the new releases today is monkeypudgie18 stamp and die set…. he’s a cutie!

For my card base, I used TSOL Exclusive Flip-its Card Circle and pineapple2stamp dies for the sunglasses on my “tropical” monkeys. The arrows I used are included in Sizzix Scalloped Circle Stand-ups Card Die Set.

I think these mischievous monkeys are soooo cute!

Here’s another fun card that would be perfect for an Anniversary card or Valentine… I made my vines using Sizzix Basic Step-ups dies and for the added heart, Sizzix Dotted Hearts.

Sympathy2Stamp- The Stamps of Life

Sympathy cards, whether it be for a pet or a human are my  least favorite cards to make.  They are  never fun or easy to create and I always  struggle with the right words to say.  The Stamps of Life released a brand new set this week called sympathy2stamp with beautiful sentiments…. It doesn’t change my thoughts on making sympathy cards  but it definitely helps when you have the perfect sentiments to use.  I love the choices available in this set!

I made this one using Sizzix Card, Scallop w/Thanks Sentiment Set as my cardbase paired with mums2stamp and Butterfly Dies.

In addition to sympathy2stamp I used TSOL Border Dies and treats4cookie.

Christmaselves2stamp- The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!  WHOOSH… and just like that it’s the first of September!  The new Club Set has been released at The Stamps of Life and it’s here just in time for the holidays!  Yes, I said it… holidays, they will be here before we know it!

elves2stamp with dies is adorable!

On my card I thought the Gift Fold-it  worked perfectly with this stamp set, besides the fact that I LOVE shaped cards! I also used Stitched Tag Dies to stamp my sentiment on and Stitched Ovals to layer on my card.

I love that there are two different elves with accessories that they can hold… The dies cut their hands out perfectly to hold whichever accessory you choose, or nothing at all.   The sentiments are awesome, too!

Here’s the other elf… so cute!  Another shaped card using the Stocking Fold-it this time. I thought it would be cute to makes as a “1st” Christmas card for a baby,  so I paired it with minidoublebanner2stamp to stamp “1st.”
