Gift, Business, Coupon Card Holders and More

Hello!  I’m here today to share a variety of cards I made using Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Rectangle/Gift Card Flip-its Card Set.  I recently ordered it from http://thestampsoflife.com and have had so much fun creating all kinds of different cards with it!  It’s the newest kind of flip-card and probably the most versatile one yet.  With the holidays around the corner, I know I won’t be putting this set away anytime soon…

First I’ll share two traditional style flip-its I made.  The large flower on the front and the ladybug is included in the set, along with many other awesome dies!

IMG_2222

I added some punched out flowers on the corners with some ribbon for a fun and cheerful look.

I love the color combination on this card.  I found this DP hiding in a drawer, that I have had FOREVER…. I have no idea where I got it, but I love when I find hidden gems!

IMG_2226

For the sentiment and banner on this card I used chalksayings2stamp and used Sizzix Flower Layers & Leaf Framelits Dies to make my flowers.  I added some brads and was done.  I like how there is plenty of room to write on the “flip side” too if you don’t want to add the “secret panel”.

Now, on to a coffee gift card I made from my favorite coffee place.

IMG_2216

The small coffee cups were made using TSOL coffee4two stamps and dies, but these are even more dies included in the set.  The gift card fits perfectly and there’s plenty of room to stamp or write something on the opposite side.

The next type of card I made is for business cards.  I made my son some of these for his job.  He’s a forester and is using these for potential clients and thank you cards.  I did slightly trim down the business card for it to fit properly in the slots, but it worked out perfectly.

Along with my card die, I paired stocking2stamp tree dies from the set and Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Leaf Triplits to complete this card.  My son liked them, and I hope his clients do too!

Last up is an idea I came up with to create a coupon card.  I made the coupon on my computer and added the sticker to the front of it.  I die cut the congrats and hearts, and then stamped the sentiment all from TSOL.

Flip-its and More

Hello!  I hope you had a fabulous weekend, they sure do go by fast!  I’m back today to share more flip-its and a traditional style card.  I’m going to be setting up at a craft fair so I have been busy, busy, busy making different cards. Who doesn’t like interactive cards?!  Flip-its are fun to make and even more fun to receive.  All the stamps and dies I used for these cards can be found over at http://thestampsoflife.com

IMG_2188

This is a fun friendship card I made.  The following are TSOL stamps and dies used: Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Large Circle#4 Flip-its Card Dieboots4rain,,umbrella4you and Triplits Hello Sunshine.

IMG_2196

For my thank you card I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Triple Square Flip-its Card Die, the stamp and die coffee4two and Leaf Triplis.

IMG_2199

Next up is Frosty Friends… I have to say, this card just makes me smile.  To make this card I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Triple Circle Flip-its Card Diesnowman2stamp, and Sizzix Tags & Words.

IMG_2204

I posted a different version of this card that I made the other day for a special order for a realtor.  Another realtor saw them and now I’m making some of these for her too!  I thought that since they liked them so much, I might as well make some for my craft fair too.  I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Large Circle #4 Flip-it Card DieWelcome Home stamp & die set, keys: heart4locket, Congrats: Drop-ins die.

For all of my flip-its I added the “secret panel” on the inside, so there is plenty of room to add a personal message.  There is a great “how to” video over at TSOL on how to add that extra panel, if you don’t know how to do it.  Check it out, it’s easy peasy!!!

The last card I’m sharing is a traditional style card using my October Club Set lightbulb2stamp.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello!  T.G.I.F!  It’s been a very busy week for me, so I’m thrilled the weekend is just about here.  It’s Breast Cancer Awareness month and I wanted to share a card today in honor of everyone who has been touched  and affected by this horrible disease!  This card will be going to a coworker of mine who has been fighting breast cancer for over a year now…. I also plan to enter this card into the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Flip-it’s Card Challenge thestampsoflife.com

I used the following stamps and dies to make this card, which all can be found over at T.S.O.L: Triple Circle Flip-its Card Die Set, words4circles, Sizzix Tags & Words, ribbon4cure, pb&jelly4you, Sizzix Borders and dies from Friends Forever Step-Up Card Die Set.

Celebrating a New Home

Hello!  Today I’m sharing a Congrats card celebrating the purchase of a new home.  I had a special order from a realtor and mass produced this card  varying the colors of the houses.  It was pretty simple to make and I whipped up 20 of them in no time at all.  She loved the cards which made me very happy.  I think I need to make some of these for myself to have on hand.  However…I think that will have to be for another day!

I used the Lovely Drop-Ins Card Die Set by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard and Sizzix Welcome Home Stamp & Die Set to make the house and trees.  The key was die cut using heartlocket2stamp by The Stamps of Life.

All of these products can be found at http://thestampsoflife.com

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you liked my card!  I truly appreciate all of your visits, questions and comments!  I hope you have a wonderful day.  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

More Light Bulb Cards

Hello!  What a beautiful weekend it is here!  I hope it’s beautiful where you are too.  Today I made a few more cards using my TSOL lightbulb2stamp & die set.  I’m really having fun playing with new set!

IMG_2140

This one is fun and colorful!  I decided to die cut the sentiment and adhere it to a doily.  I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard flower dies to make the layered flowers.

IMG_2145

For this card I used both light bulbs that come in the set along with some different sentiments.

IMG_2143

Lately I’ve been making a lot of window cards… I think it’s fun to create different scenes! To make my window I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Window Die/Stamp and for the greenery and flowers I used dies from Oval Flip-its Die Set. The pumpkin is a dimensional sticker.  Lastly, I used some antique lace for curtains and a Sizzix embossing folder to create the shutters.

IMG_2149

My last card I’m sharing today has a special place in my heart.  It’s in honor of autism.  Blue light bulbs and puzzle pieces are the symbol for autism.  I work in a public school system and made a set of these cards for a coworker who has an autistic son, and also works with autistic children. I also used brushstrokes2stamp and a puzzle punch to create this card.

All the stamps I used and coordinating dies can be found at http://thestampsoflife.com

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate all of your visits, comments and questions!  Until the next time…. Happy Stamping!

Shine On

Hello!  I’m back today to share a card with you using the October club set from The Stamps of Life called lightbulb2stamp.  It’s another fun set with endless possibilities!  This card went together very quickly!  I assembled my card base and then die cut an oval in the center.  Next I stamped and die cut six light bulbs and sandwiched them in between the twine.  After I arranged and glued the hanging light bulbs I covered the oval with black cardstock. I stamped the hearts in the corners, added gems then stamped the sentiment.  Pretty simple, but I think it turned out cute!  You can find this stamp/die set at thestampsoflife.com

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I truly appreciate all of your visits, comments and questions.  I’ll be back real soon, so be sure to check back.  Until the next time…..Happy Stamping!

Celebrating Love and Birthdays

Hello!  Hope your week is going well so far.  I came home from work today to find my October Stamps of Life Club Set waiting in my mailbox!!!  Woo Hoo!  Of course I just had to try it out.  It’s called lightbulb2stamp.  In my last post I mentioned that there is a contest going on at http://thestampsoflife.com.  It’s a flip card contest using Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard card dies and stamps going on until December 1st.  Today I’m sharing a card made with my new club set, as well as two birthday cards I recently made.  I’ve entered all three into the contest…fingers and toes crossed!!!

I used the Oval Flip-it Card Die Set to make all three of my cards.

IMG_1447

This card features the lightbulb2stamp stamp/die set.  It comes with some other great stamps and sentiments that I’ll be sharing on another day.  I’ve got some great ideas up my sleeve that I can’t wait to try!

The next two cards don’t involve any stamping, except for the sentiment inside the card.

IMG_1445

I made this card for a coworker who always greets everyone by saying, “helloSunshine”  I couldn’t have found or made a more perfect card!  Along with the flip card set I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Hello SunshineTriplits Set. I hope she likes her card and it puts a smile on her face.

IMG_2077

This card is basically the same, but I added some flower borders that come in the set.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate all of your visits, questions and comments!  Have a wonderful rest of the week.  Until the next time…. Happy Stamping!

Four Seasons of Flip-its

Hello!  I hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!  Today I’m here to share four seasons of flip-it cards.  Stephanie Barnard from http://thestampsoflife.com announced there is a Flip-it Card Contest happening!  Anyone can enter and she is accepting uploads until 12/1/15.  You can enter as many times as you wish, but must only use stamps from TSOL and/or Sizzix.  Yesterday was a rainy, cold day here so I got started with my entries.

IMG_1444

For my season of winter I made a Christmas card.  This is the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Playful Flip-it Card Set.  I also used stockings4Christmasfireplace2stamp and Sizzix Tags&Words.

Next comes the season of spring.  For this card I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Large Circle #4 Flip-its.  To make this fun kite I used kites2fly stamp/die set which just happens to be one of my favorite sets!  I die cut the flowers using Mini Flower Dies.

IMG_1440

The next is summer, which is my personal  favorite season!  I used only dies to create this card.  This is the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Regal Flip-it Card Die.  To make this friendly bumble bee I used  the Bee Triplit Set.  I found this paper in my stash which worked great with my bee theme.  I used Sizzix Tags&Words to make my tag and the sentiment is from Lovely Drop-ins.

IMG_1442

Last up is fall…  I knew I wanted to use acorns and leaves, then decided to give the acorn a sad face.  So then it turned into a silly kind of card, but I still think it’s cute!  This card is made using Sizzix/.Stephanie Barnard Square #2 Flip-its Card Set.  In addition I used Leaf Triplits,faces4stamps, flipflops2stamp (for the sentiment) and snowman2stamp to make the branch.

IMG_1441

There you have it, four seasons of flip-its!  I never realized that I owned so many different flip-it dies…. I’ll be sharing some different ones in the days to come.  I don’t make these type cards often enough, so I’m happy to be participating in this challenge and using what I already own.  If you like any of the stamps/dies I used everything can be found http://thestampsoflife.com.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate all of your visits, comments and questions.  Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and until the next time…. Happy Stamping!

Celebrating National Coffee Day with Coffee Cards

Hello!  Happy Wednesday, half way through the work week!!!  I’m a day late posting, but yesterday was National Coffee Day and I have two cards to share with you today using coffee4two stamp and die set by The Stamps of Life. I am a huge coffee lover, so I just had to honor this special day!  Without my morning coffee, I’m just not a happy person….:(

IMG_2063

For the background of my card, I used a retired Stampin’Up pumpkin and acorn stamp.  I’m sorry, but I don’t know the original set it came from. I also used a punch from The Dollar Tree and added the leaves.  Pumpkin Spice coffee is a favorite of mine this time of year, and that’s what I had in mind while making this card.

IMG_2067

This next card was fun to make.  This time I stamped and die cut the miniature coffee cup in this set and created my window scene.  The window is a die by Sizzix/Tim Holtz. I made the curtains using some lace I found in an antique shop this past weekend.  Such a great find!!! The leaves, greenery and hearts were made using punches by Martha Stewart.  The sentiment is by Fiskars and the DP is by Jolee.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today.  I truly appreciate all of your visits, comments and questions.  Until the next time…. Happy Stamping!
