Shine On Card

Hello everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!  I’m going back to work after a week off of vacation.  I had a well rested week and the weather was FANTASTIC!!! The temperature made it to 70 degrees which is unheard of in New England this time of your…No compaints from me:)

I have a quick card to share with you today.  I made this card for my sister who starts a new job tomorrow at Unitil, which is an electric company.  I wanted to make her a good luck card and had the perfect stamp to use.  I used lightbulb2stamp with matching dies by The Stamps of Life. This was actually a Club Set quite some time ago.  It’s super cute with some awesome sentiments, too.

Here’s my card:

For the background of my card I used Sizzix Flower Power Background Die This is a new die to my collection and I love it:)  Another new die set to me is Sizzix Dotted Circles which I also love.  The mini banner my sentiment is stamped on is also by Sizzix/TSOL, I just can’t remember which set it belongs to….Sorry!

This is a pretty simple card, but perfect for the occasion:)

TSOL February Card Kit 2017

Hello everyone!  This is a first for me…. I have never signed up to be in a “Card Kit Club” but recently decided I wanted to give it a try.  Last week I received my official pink and white box in the mail from The Stamps of Life and loved it! This is what the kit looks like:)

I love how everything matches and you don’t have to think about what papers or inks to pair together.  It just all goes together!

So far I have made three different cards to share with you,but I have lots of supplies left to make many more cards.

Here is what I made so far….

I paired the club set with TSOL Mini Flower Dies and Powdered Sugar Felt.

I’m in love with this sentiment!!! It’s so true, right? I die cut my circles using  Sizzix Circle Dies and paper pieced with the patterned paper underneath.

This is another great sentiment!  I thought it paired perfectly with this thanks die that is part of Sizzix Dotted Rectangles.

All three of these cards went together quickly because most of the “thinking” was done for you….Sometimes the hardest part is deciding on colors and patterns.

I’m sold on the Card Kit and glad I tried it out.  The die, stamps, papers, ribbon, twine and embellishments are all awesome:)

TSOL Happy Birthday Die “Flash Sale”

Hello everyone!  I’m here to share some super fun and easy cards with you today.  The best part…This die called  is a “Flash Sale” item today called Sizzix Happy Birthday Set at The Stamps of Life! Here’s a couple cards I made using this fun Happy Birthday die.

To make this card I used TSOL cardstock and Always Patterned Paper along with the Happy Birthday Collection Patterned Paper. I added a star, some enamel dots and voila, finished!  So fun and festive:)

My next card is very shimmery and sparkly…It just doesn’t show up too well in the picture.  This time I used the Thanks Collection Patterned Paper  for the inside of my card and colored the flower centers in with markers.  I added rhinestones to the flower centers for some more glitz and adorned the corner of my card with a Mini Flower Die to coordinate with the inside.

Stamps of Life Patterns4Cake

Hello everyone!  I’m back today with another post.  On the first of February,  The Stamps of Life released the Club Set Cake2Stamp Stamp/Die Set. Today, the coordinating die set has been released!  It’s called Patterns4Cake and it has some super fun patterns,  with additional sentiments. I love the patterns, and the sentiments are awesome too!

Isn’t this fun?  In addition to the stamp set, I used Stitched Rectangle Dies exclusive to TSOL  and TSOL papers, inks and embellishments.

For my next card, I used Sizzix Lovely Drop-Ins Card Die Set for the base of my card. I used the solid stamp to make my cake pink. Perfect for us noncolorers;) Is that even a word?!  In addition to patterns4cake,  I decided to make mine an Anniversary card, so I paired it with morechalksayings2stamp stamp/die set.

Another fun stamp set that can be used for any fun celebration!

New Release: TSOL BunnyFriend4Bear

Hi everyone!  It’s hard to believe, but spring IS right around the corner.  I type this as I’m home from work today because my school cancelled today.  Snow and ice, yuck!  I have a brand new stamp set to share today!!!  It’s super cute for Easter and spring time, and it’s called buunyfriend4bear .  The best part…it has coordinating dies!

I have three different cards to share with you.

For my card front I used Sizzix Drop-In Die with Script Dies and Blessings Collection Patterned Paper.  I used Sizzix Tags and Words to stamp my sentiment on.

For this card, I used Sizzix Royal Stand-Ups Card Die Set for the base of my card. I used Blessings Collection Patterned Paper for this one, too.

This card was super EASY and FAST!  I used Sizzix Dotted Rectangles, Hooray Collection Patterned paper.

I love how Stephanie makes all of her stamp sets so versatile!  Once again, so many possibilities with just this one stamp set alone, or paired with another.

Cake2Stamp and Mini Chevron Die

Hi everyone!  It’s the first of the month, which means two things over at The Stamps of Life… A new February  Club Set and a “Flash Sale!” If your’e not familiar with flash sales at the TSOL, they’re amazing!  You receive 40% off on a flash sale item for 24 hours, or until the item is sold out. I love the dimension and interest this die gives to your card front!  I paired it with flowerpower2fill stamp/die and patterns4flowerpower sets for the chevron flower and sentiment, and the little butterfly is from Sizzix/SB Windows Stamp/Die Set. Isn’t this a great die?  So versatile…

And now for Cake2Stamp Stamp/Die Set

For this card I used Sizzix/SB Happy Birthday Step-Ups Card Die Set along with the cake stamp and sentiment.  You can find this Step-Ups die at TSOL here. The little flowers were cut from TSOL Mini Flower Dies.

Next up, is a Drop-In style card which pairs perfectly with this stamp set!

Isn’t this fun with the pop-up gifts inside?  This Drop-In style card is called Sizzix/SB 3-D Scallop with Gifts and can be found here.

My next card uses the Sizzix/SB A2 Half Card Die Set. This time I used this cute little slice of cake that’s included in the set.

And one more…..

For this card, I used the Sizzix/SB Square Card Front with the Sizzix/SB Borders Thinlits Die Set.

I die cut a layer off of the cake, so it would fit on my square card front.  The birds are  from an older released club set, called Birdcage Die Set and  I thought of this set right away when I saw this sentiment:)

I love these new releases!  The best part is that they can be used alone, or paired with stamp/die sets you already own.  All papers, felt and ink I used can be found at TSOL.  Check out the Gallery for some more awesome ideas!
