Summer4Fun & Island2Stamp Dies- The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!  It’s the 20th of the month which means new releases at The Stamps of Life!  There are TWO new die sets being released TODAY!  Both of the die sets coordinate with past released stamp sets, that I love! WOO HOO! No more fussy cutting!!!!

 First I’ll share a die set called summer4fun. The die set is a Flash Sale item today!  Both the stamp and die set are new to me, and I  think they’re just adorable!  A perfect summer time set to have in your collection!

Here are the cards I made:

For the base of my card I used the mini Sizzix Tree Step-Ups Card and to create the look of waves I used Sandal Dies which has a wave die included in the set. It was a simple card to make. This would be a great card to send to someone heading to the beach:)

I used the same Sandal Dies once again to create my water.  My beach umbrella was made with umbrella4you stamp and die.

The newly released  island2stampdies coordinate with the  island2visit stamp set.

Once again, I used the Sandal Dies  to make my water in the background, as I did with my previous cards.

This card has nothing to do with the beach or an island, but I was thinking it would work perfectly as a retirement card, too. The base of my card was made with Sizzix Friends Forever Step-ups Card Die Set. You can find it here.

I used all papers, inks, and embellishments from The Stamps of Life to create my cards.

I’m so happy that there are now dies to go with these stamp sets!  Summertime is my my favorite season and I love making summery cards:)  I’m wishing I were sitting on a beach somewhere, anywhere, RIGHT NOW!

Sizzix Dotted Oval Dies & Sizzix Get Well 3-D Drop-in – The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start!  I’m excited to share some cards with you using BRAND NEW  dies at The Stamps of Life by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard.  I love them both, and think you will, too. The best part… They are both FLASH SALE items today!

The first set is the Sizzix Get Well Drop-in

*NOTE* To use this die, you must have one of the related base card dies.  This die will work with any of the following: Sizzix 3-D Scallop w/Gifts Drop-ins, Sizzix 3-D FlowersDrop-ins  or Sizzix 3-D Banner Drop-ins.

Here are a couple of cards I made using this die.

I used Sizzix Dotted Rectangles  and Bandage Dies  for my card front.

And here is the inside…. I love the surprise element of the pop-up!

One more…

For this card I used tea4two and moretea4us with the coordinating die set.  I also used Sizzix Circles, Dotted Framelits Set to stamp my sentiment on.

Such a fun way to send well wishes!

Next up is the 8 piece Sizzix Dotted Oval.

I personally think that these are a “must have”.  They layer beautifully and coordinate well with Sizzix Circles, Dotted Framelits and Sizzix Dotted Rectangles which I used on my card.  My vase of flowers was made with flowers2share.

Unicornpudgie plus Solids4Rainbow & Sayings4Rainbow-The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!  It’s the 7th of the month which means BRAND new stamps and dies at The Stamps of Life!  The best part… two out of the three sets are Flash Sale items which means a 25% savings for you:)

The first item is unicornpudgie5.  It’s the 5th in a growing series of pudgie animals that Stephanie has come out with.  Cute, cute, cute!!! This IS a flash sale item, too:)

Solids4Rainbow  coordinates with last month’s Club Set called rainbow2stamp.  It is also a Flash Sale item!

 

Sayings4Rainbow is the third set being released today.  Check out all these awesome sentiments!

Now to share my cards….  I’ll begin with unicornpudgie5.

 I made three different cards:

For the base of my card, I used Sizzix Friends Forever Step-Ups Card Die Set.  I  colored in my rainbow and unicorn using TSOL markers ,  added some bling, and was done!

Another one….  with some added “bling.”

I used Sizzix Circles, Scalloped Framelits Die Set and Sizzix Dotted Circle Dies for my card base.  I love this Thank You Collection Patterned Paper!

And now for some Rainbow cards…

These are the cards I created using solids4rainbow with rainbow2stamp.

Super simple…. I love this set because I’m NOT a colorer !

I DID color this card, and used the sentiments to stamp on each of the cards.  I used Sizzix Horizontal Card Front Drop-in for my card base. I love using vellum for shaker cards!

I used sayings4rainbow for my sentiment on this card. I used TSOL Circle Dies for my base for the rainbow, and used the negative space for my hearts, putting patterned paper behind them. To create the smiles on my clouds, I used Sizzix Hello Sunshine Triplits. It did not photograph well, but the clouds are all sparkly with white glitter.

Happy 4th of July Bear2Stamp Flip-its-The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!!!! Happy 4th of July!  I hope you’re all enjoying the holiday.  It’s a beautiful day…. where I live, and hope it is where you live, too.  I have a quick card to share with you before I head for some family fun.

This card took no time at all to make and I LOVE interactive cards!

To make this card I used the Sizzix Star Flip-its and bear2stamp stamp set with dies. The basket is a die from a coordinating set, called friend4bear dies.  My flag is a cupcake topper and I filled my basket with some mini flowers.  I added some twine and was finished.  Super quick and easy!

Hello everyone!  Happy July1st!  I can’t believe it’s already July, but I’m as happy as can be… summer is my FAVORITE season. You know what else the first of the month means… BRAND NEW RELEASES from The Stamps of Life!  Today, I’m sharing the Club Set called rainbow2stamp with matching dies .  There are also two Flash Sale items available TODAY called Dream Statement Set and Sizzix You Are Loved 3-D Drop-in Die.

Behind every rainbow is some sunshine, so I paired the stamp set with Sizzix Hello Sunshine Triplits .  

A pink and blue rainbow?!  Why not?!  That’s what’s so fun about making cards….they can be any way you want them to be!  I used the Sizzix Square Stand-up to complete this card.

Can you tell how much I LOVE Stand-up card dies?  This time I used Sizzix Scalloped Circle Stand-ups Card Die Set.  I love how the “dream” fits perfectly on the Stand-ups!

I am also in love with 3-D Pop-ups… Stephanie has made it so easy, peasy to make these types of cards!

One thing you need to know… in order to use the 3D Pop-up Dies you need to own one of the following card bases for it to to coordinate with.  You may already own one… They are: Sizzix 3-D Scallop w/Gifts Drop-ins, Sizzix 3-D Flowers Drop-ins or, the soon to be retired Sizzix 3-D Banner Drop-ins.  I love how Stephanie comes out with new to work with your old ones!

You Are Loved…. is just beautiful, I think.

It doesn’t look like much on it’s own, but inside a card, the recipient will definitely be wowed!

Unexpected…. and I think beautiful!  Perfect for any occasion, really.

One last card:

On my card front, I used, list2write stamp set, Notebook Edge Die, scarecrow2stamp with dies, and Sizzix Dotted Rectangle Dies.

Everyone wants to know they’re loved by somebody….. which is why I think this die works for a “Just Because” card or any occasion!
