You Melt My Heart … Valentine- The Stamps of Life

Hello! Brrrr….. is all I can say! It’s a chilly day today and with temps well below 0 degrees I was inspired to make a Valentine’s Day Card using icecreamtruck2stamp with the matching dies.

I love this stamp set and haven’t used it nearly enough…. The ice cream truck is just adorable and you can fill it with so many different treats! It just makes me smile!

This card was really easy to make… I started by making my pink fluffy clouds using Candy Ink. Next, I die cut my grass using Border Dies. Then the fun part…. stamping, die cutting, coloring and assembling my ice cream truck. I finished it off by stamping my sentiments and adding a cute little bow. So fun! And…. another Valentine finished!

This is a fun one…. when I first saw it, I thought of all my pet owner friends. I think it was actually meant to go on the back of envelopes, but there’s really no right or wrong, just have fun!

This is a very simple card…. but I thought it was a perfect encouragement one.

Cat Pudgie – The Stamps of Life

CATS! Are you a crazy cat lady? I think I could actually become one… but I don’t have any pets! However, I do have 2 adorable grandcats that I absolutely LOVE!

What a cutie!

I put my cats in a basket and made a ball of yarn. I think they’re so cute!!!

This time I used Sizzix Scalloped Circle Stand-Ups Card Die Set as my base and added my cat and sentiment. I love the sentiment…. so true! Cats definitely have their own “cattitude!”

This was so much fun to make! I used the House Fold-it as my base and kept adding on. I added paws on my roof and stamped my sentiment on to Stitched Oval Dies. Next, I added my happy sun peeking out from behind the house. I added a border on the roof line and a bee buzzing around my tree. Lastly, I added the mouse on the windowsill and my pudgie cat holding a fish. I used lots of additional sets, but once I started making this card I couldn’t help myself. As I said, it was so much fun to make!

Fun, right?! I know I’ll be making more of these…. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner!

Ice Cream Fold-it Die- The Stamps of Life

Ice Cream!!! That’s what it’s all about today! There’s a new release today at The Stamps of Life , a new Fold- its Die has been added to the collection of shaped cards! YAY! Shaped cards are one of my favorite kinds of cards to make, they’re so much fun!

It’s called Sizzix Ice Cream Fold-its

It’s fun, cute, easy, and very fast to assemble. This card took literally about 10 minutes to make. The hardest part was deciding which colors to use ….

You don’t always have to make a shaped card…. it works great on a card front, too, and adds more versatility:)

You Warm My Heart… The Stamps of Life

Hello friends! It’s a chilly day today in the North East where I live, so I was inspired to make this quick and easy card!

Mittens!!!! It’s definitely mitten weather! I love The Stamps of Life oldie but goodie, mitten stamp and die set!

I used Mitten Dies to cut my cozy mittens out of Mint Chip Felt and Powdered Sugar Felt. I embellished them with felt flowers also by TSOL. I layered them on to Stitched Square Dies and then Scalloped Squares. Lastly, I embellished with pearls, stamped my sentiment with mittens2stamp and added twine. Done. Quick and easy 🙂 I have to say, I just LOVE the new Mint Chip color that has been added to TSOL….

jar2stamp Valentine

I officially made my first Valentine’s Day card using Stamps of Life jar2stamp , this month’s Club Set…. One of my resolutions for 2019 is to NOT wait until the last minute to make my cards! This is only one of several I need to make BUT it’s a start…. Right?!

I used Scalloped and Stitched Rectangle Dies as my cardbase. After putting together my cardbase , I stamped and die cut the jar and then stamped, cut and colored the bees. I die cut the label (sneak peek and coming soon!) and them stamped my sentiment on to it…. Lastly, I spelled out “Bee Mine” using the alphabet dies from a previous Club Set called foxes2stamp. All of the cardstock , patterned paper, inks and added embellishments can also all be found at Stamps of Life.

Jar2Stamp & Sayings4Jars

Happy New Year!!!! This is my second post today but there is so much goodness to share, I just couldn’t wait another day!

It’s that time…. A new Stamps of Life stamp of the month has been released with a companion set! What fun sets with endless possibilities… AND there are matching dies

I know, I ALWAYS say it, BUT….. I absolutely LOVE this month’s Club Set! It’s Awesome!

jar2stamp is a fun set with lots of goodies and sentiments!

The jar is a good size to fill will all kinds of goodies. I don’t have a dog or any pets…. BUT… look how cute those dog bones are!!!! I added my little dog who looks like she’s waiting so patiently for one of those treats;)

The companion set sayings4jar has lots of great sentiments to choose from….

I love fireflies! It brings back so many happy memories of trying to catch them as a child and with my own kids when they were young! When I saw this sentiment, I knew right away I wanted to use the fireflies. This was a fun card to make and it brings a smile to my face!

Limited Edition Heart Background Die

Happy New Year!!! And just like that 2018 is over…. I’m looking forward to 2019 and wishing you good health, happiness and lots of crafty time for YOU!

Not only is it a new year today but it’s ALSO a release day at The Stamps of Life

My first card of the new year is made with a Limited Edition Heart Background Die

I love the intricate pattern of the hearts on this die. I wanted a “stained glass” appearance to my card so I blended various colors of Stamps of Life inks on to glossy paper. In addition, I added one of my favorite dies from the Love Life Card Kit that was previously released and finished it off with Butterfly Dies.

And one more….

I had Valentine’s Day in mind or an Anniversary card when I made this one. Such a versatile die! I added love to the front of the heart and was done. Easy Peasy!
