Stand-Up and Flip-It Card for fall

Hello!  Well, the weekend is almost over, but it was a great one for me and hopefully for you too!  In between visiting and going to fairs I managed to stamp a few fall cards, and even some more Christmas cards that I’ll share at a later date.  This week’s posts will be all about autumn and enjoying the beautiful gifts of nature!

For my first card I used the Royal Stand-Up Card Die by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard along with birthday4cookie&treats4cookie my favorite little dog stamp!  I also used a retired Stampin’Up pumpkin stamp, and I apologize because I have no idea what set it came from many years ago!

Isn’t she cute?  I think Cookie is just the cutest and I use this stamp set quite often:)

My next card is a flip-it card, fun and interactive!  It’s A2 in size and called Large Circle #4 Flip-Its by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard.  This card took literally 5 minutes to make from start to clean-up… that’s how simple it is because all the measuring is done for you!

The cute little owl is a punch from Martha Stewart.  I created the branch by borrowing the snowman’s arm from snowman2stamp.( I know…but it worked!) Then I die cut “hi,” also from The Stamps of Life and added some wooden stars and jute.

You can find all of the dies I used and “Cookie” over at http://thestampsoflife.com

Thanks so much for stopping by for a visit today!  I truly appreciate your visits, questions and comments!  Stop by again soon because more fall cards are on the way:)  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

Heart Step-Up Miss You Card

Hello!  Hope you’re having a great start to the weekend.  Here in New England there is definitely the feel of autumn in the air!  Today I am sharing a card that I made for a customer who requested a “miss you” card.  I’ve had this Heart Step-Up Card Die by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard for a while, but it’s my first time using it.  I love step-up cards and had to add this one to my collection!

I wanted this card to have a fallish color scheme, but still look feminine.  I paired my card with two other die sets, Triplits Die Hello-Sunshine and Mini Flower Dies.  All of the dies I used today can be found over at http://thestampsoflife.com

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today!  I truly appreciate your visits, questions and comments.  Be sure to check back over the next few days, because I have some autumn themed cards to share:)  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

“Bee” Thankful

Hello!  I’m here to share a card today that has absolutely no stamping.  I treated myself to this cute Triplit Bee Set by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard today.  It’s been on my wishlist for a while, and Michael’s was having a great sale, so I treated myself!  I also used The Lovely Drop-Ins paired with Mini Flower Dies all which can be found at The Stamps of Life.  I think it’s pretty cute!

Thanks for stopping by today!  I truly appreciate your visits and any comments or questions!  Until the next time….. Happy Stamping!

A Haunting We Will Go

Hello!  It’s been a long week of work…TGIF!!!  Today I’m sharing a Halloween card using my fireplace2stamp stamp/die set from The Stamps of Life.  My last few posts have been of cards using this set, can you tell how much I love it?  So many possibilities!  Here’s a fun Happy Halloween version:)

IMG_2049

Isn’t this fun?  My son’s favorite holiday is Halloween, so he will be the recipient of this card.  It was fast and easy to put together. I used Sizzix XL Die- card, Square Stand-Ups for the base,  banners4fall to create the banner and the “boo”sentiment, all from TSOL.  I added some stickers, twine, google eyes and was done!

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today!  I love hearing from you, so feel free to leave a question or a comment.  Until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Warm Autumn Wishes

Hello!  Yesterday I shared two different Christmas versions of fireplace2stamp made by The Stamps of Life.  I’m back today to share an autumn themed version using this awesome stamp and die set.  The ideas and different cards you can make with this set are endless, it’s so versatile!  I said it yesterday, but I’ll say it again…this is my new fave and I’m in love:)

IMG_2045

This is what I came up with today!  It’s very “fallish” and could easily be sent as a Thanksgiving card.  The leaves are metallic confetti, the pumpkin is from a retired Stampin’Up set called Window on the World.  Everything else is from TSOL and can be found at their site.  The birds were die cut using birdcage2stamp, the banner was stamped and cut using chalksayings2stamp and the sentiment is from snowman2stamp.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate your visits and comments!  If you like this card, and have not seen the Christmas version of this fireplace stamp set, check out my previous post.  You too will fall in love!  Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and until the next time… Happy Stamping!

Fireplace Christmas Cards

Hello!  Another weekend has arrived and I couldn’t be happier!  Sometimes those short weeks are the longest.  Today I’m here to share two cards that I made using the new Stamps of Life fireplace2stamp (with coordinating dies) set. The best part is I won this stamp set for free!!!  I entered some of my cards into TSOL gallery from the July club set, and won! I got to choose any set that I wanted, and when I saw this new one, I had to have it.  I absolutely love it, and plan to make some fall cards with it too, so be sure to check back soon!

For my first card, I used stocking2stamp which is the coordinating set of the fireplace2stamp to die cut the trees and candy canes. I love the letters that came with it, there are more included in the set too that spell NOEL, LOVE and JOY.

IMG_2043

Once again I used stocking2stamp for my trees on the mantel and the candy canes.  I used a candle die from TSOL and a Martha Stewart punch to create my greenery.

I had so much fun making these cards today and love how they turned out.  As I said, I have some great ideas for fall versions using the fireplace set too, so be sure to come back soon.  Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and visit today,   I really do appreciate your visits and comments!  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

More Christmas Stocking Cards

Hello!  My last post was all about my Stamps of Life Die Hard Club set called stockings4Christmas.  I’m back today to share even more cards I made.   I’m feeling so good to have a head start on my Christmas cards:)  Normally, I’m scrambling mid December, but I won’t be this year…I’ve been making multiples of each design.  Now if only I could manage to get my shopping done early!  Now that would be a true miracle, but I’ll save that for another day…

IMG_2030

For my first card, I used the Sizzix Window Die/Stamp set to create my window.  Next I die cut the stockings, tree, candy canes, star and heart and added them to the window.  The Christmas lights are from a punch I recently found at The Dollar Tree.  I stamped “JOY” and was done.  Pretty simple and easy to mass produce!

IMG_2033

I absolutely love this next card, but feel the photograph does not do it justice.  It’s must prettier in real life, but I decided to share it anyways.  To create this card I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Lovely Drop-Ins to make the heart base.  I die cut the stocking with velvet and trimmed it with the antique like lace. Then,  I attached the sparkly tree to it by using a gem stone brad.  Lastly, I die cut the silver stars and added them to the corners. I love the shimmer and sparkle mixed with the velvet and lace.

IMG_2034

For my last card I used Scalloped Edge Drop-Ins by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard.  This is one of my favorite drop in dies that I use quite often.  I love the scalloped edges!  This card took no time at all, I just die cut all the pieces and assembled it. I think it’s pretty festive!

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by for a visit. I truly appreciate your visits, questions and comments! Until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Christmas Stocking Cards

Hello!  A nice long weekend ahead…such a fabulous feeling!  The beginning of the month is here, which means I got a brand new club set from The Stamps of Life!  Yippee!  I’ve never been disappointed, and this month proves to be no different. The name of this Die Hard Club Set is stockings4Christmas.  The set consists of different stockings,  candy canes, trees and some great sentiments. Today I’m sharing a few different cards I made using this set.

IMG_1408

For my first card, I didn’t do any stamping on the front of the card, only the sentiment on the inside.  The entire card was basically die cut. I layered all of my rectangles on to the card, and for the white one I embossed it with a snowflake folder by The Paper Studio.  The snowflakes’ don’t show up too well in the photo, but they add some nice dimension to the card.  I embellished the stocking, the tree and was done!  I think it turned out pretty cute:)

IMG_1406

I decided to go sparkly with this next card.  Once again, not too much stamping on this one either.  I embossed the base of the card with a polka dot folder by Darcie and cut the scalloped oval using a die by Spellbinders.  I die cut the stocking and filled it with items that go with the set.  However, the snowflake on the stocking and the fern were from a punch not included in the set. I used Tags & Words by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard to cut my tag and stamped it using one of the  sentiments in the set. I added sparkly twine and ribbon and had another card completed!

IMG_1407

The last card I have to share today reminds me of an “old fashioned Christmas”.  I bought this vintage paper last year and found it in my scrap box.  This time I stamped the stocking first, die cut it, then put it through the embosser using Swiss Dots by Cuttlebug.  Then I cut the rest and adhered it to the base of the Christmas stocking.  I used TSOL Button Dies and attached the stocking to make it hang. Lastly, I used Fancy Labels#4 found at TSOL to layer for my sentiment.  The sentiment is from a past club set called ornaments2stamp.  I like how this card turned out too!

Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to visit my blog today.  I truly appreciate all of your visits, questions and comments.  If you liked these cards today, be sure to stop back again.  I have more ideas to share using this stamp set, as well as some Halloween and Thanksgiving cards.  I guess I’m going a little backwards starting off with Christmas, LOL!!!  Enjoy this long weekend:)  Until the next time, Happy Stamping!

Do you want to build a snowman?

Hello!  Today I’m sharing a snowman card with you.  I know what you’re thinking… it’s only August, but I’m trying to get a head start on some Christmas cards.  I’m not trying to wish away what’s left of summer, but it’s been pretty hot and humid here, so I was in the mood to make a snowman card with my snowman2build stamp/die set .  I also used ornament2stamp to create the snowflakes, birdcage2stamp to die cut the cute little bird and Sizzix Bird & Tree to make the tree. All of the stamps and dies mentioned can be found over at The Stamps of Life.

IMG_1362 (1)

This was a super quick card to make! I made the background with a snowflake embossing folder by Darcie, fussy cut some snow and layered the remaining parts on to the card.  I think she’s a pretty cute snowgirl!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Your visits, questions and comments are very much appreciated!  I’ll be back soon with some fall and Halloween cards I’m working on, so be sure to check back soon!  Until the next time, Happy Stamping!
