The World is a Better Place Flip-Its Card

Hello everyone, I hope you’re enjoyinyg your weekend!  It’s officially fall, and here in New England, there is definitely that autumn chill in the air…First time in a long time….  Today, I have a super quick card to share with you.  Recently,  I was in AC Moore and came across this beautiful paper by American Crafts and could not pass it up.  The paper was on sale, and I already own stamps that coordinate perfectly, so I bought a few sheets of it.  I may even make this card with my upcoming class because I love the paper and sentiment!

Here it is:)

The base of my card was made using the Sizzix/SB Square #2 Square Flip-Its Card Set found at The Stamps of Life along with the Square Stitched Squares Dies I used to stamp my globe on.  The globe stamp is made by Hero Arts and I purchased it at Michaels.  The felt flowers were cut from Candy Felt from TSOL using the Mini Flower Dies. I added some mini whitebrads found at Michaels and finished the flowers off with some twine.

The inside is really simple, but I LOVE this sentiment!  This stamp was made by American Art Stamp and I found it at Hobby Lobby.

I stamped my sentiment closer to the top of the square to leave some space to write.

Happy Fall Greetings

Hello everyone!   I’m back today with another fall/Thanksgiving card to share with you.  I know I’ve been all over the place with holiday cards, but I just can’t get enough of this stamp set!  I think it is just the cutest…. If you missed my previous post from the other day, this stamp & die set is called pilgrimgirl2stamp and pilgrimboy2stamp by The Stamps of Life.  I think this little pilgrim boy is just adorable:)

For the inside of my card, I decided to use Sizzix/SB Happy Thanksgiving 3-D Drop-Ins Sentiments for a fun surprise!  You can find that die  here at The Stamps of Life,too.

Halloween and Thanksgiving Cards

Hello everyone! I can’t even believe the weekend is already coming to an end:( There is never enough time to do all the things I want to accomplish during the weekend.  Time surely does fly!

Today I have a few different cards to share with you.

First up, is a Halloween card that I created using dies and punches. I’m not sure where I got the tree die… Sorry! I no longer have the packaging and there are no markings on the die.  The bats, owl and moon were made using Martha Stewart punches. The pumpkins were made using Sizzix dies.  It’s a very simple card and I was able to make several very quickly.

Next up, is a card I’m entering into a challenge at Dragonfly Journeys.  You can find it here.  It’s called “Shake Your Tail Feathers” I decided to enter a Thanksgiving turkey card.

I used the Sizzix/SB turkey die and stamp from The Stamps of Life to make my card. I found the wooden leaves at Michaels that are meant to be table confetti, but I immediately had cards on my mind when I spotted them!

Lastly, I have a couple more Thanksgiving cards to share with you that uses two new stamp sets I recently got from TSOL called pilgrimboy2stamp and pilgrimgirl2stamp with coordinating dies.  I took advantage of a Flash Sale they were having and got them for an amazing price!  I think they’re so cute!!!

I paired these cute little Pilgrims with TSOL fireplace2stamp/stamp die set and Stitched Rectangle Die for my sentiment.

My last card is just the Pilgrim girl alone that I paired with TSOL Patterned Paper called Happiness Collection.

For the inside of my card, I used the Thanksgiving 3D Drop-Ins by Sizzix/SB that can be found here at TSOL.

Santa Box Card and Pillow Box

Hello everyone!  Hope you’re having a fun and happy Saturday!  It’s the beginning of the month, which means I got my new Die Hard Club Set from The Stamps of Life.  I  also received my exclusive Pillow Box Die Set I ordered, that I love:)

It’s NEVER too early to get started on your holiday cards.  I’ve been working on all of my holiday cards, but for today, I’m going to fast forward to Christmas.  Stay tuned for some Halloween and Thanksgiving cards coming soon!

For my first card I used my club set called Santa2stamp stamp/die set.  Check it out here, it’s so fun and I love the sentiments that come with it!  I also used The Stamps of Life exclusive Box Card Die Set to replicate a chimney. The icicles were made with an old Martha Stewart punch, and I used a Darcie embossing folder for my bricks that I found at Hobby Lobby. The speech bubble and banner die are also dies from Sizzix/SB, I just can’t remember which sets they belong to:( I guess that puts me on Santa’s naughty list!

I love the texture the Powdered Sugar felt gave to Santa’s beard and moustache.

Next up, is my Santa themed pillow box that’s super fun, quick and EASY! It’s perfect to hold gift cards or small treats for any time of the year.

Here is the Pillow Box Die which is exclusive to TSOL.  Check out Stephanie’s video to check out all the dies and ways you can use this set. I made the belt by using Licorice Seam Binding and my Sizzix Square Dies. I have to be honest with you, I didn’t expect these boxes to assemble and close so nicely, but they go together so easily and almost “snap” shut. I’m so happy I purchased this set because I know I’ll get lots of use out of it.

A Spintastic Day Spinner Card

Hello everyone!  I hope you’re enjoying this long Labor Day weekend!  I’m heading to a family barbeque shortly, I can’t wait:) It’s a beautiful day here in New England!

Today, I’m sharing a card that I made just for fun, and fun it is!  It’s a spinner card that I just can’t stop spinning!!!!  All products used can be found over at The Stamps of Life.  The stamp set is pinwheels2stamp and the die is called penny slider die  which makes this card simple to make!

This card was so fun and fast to make!  I stamped the sentiment on a tag and left it blank on the inside of the card.  I’ll stamp the inside when I decide the occasion I want to use the card for.

Off to my barbeque I go….
