Happy May 1st! Where I live we have had an abundance of April showers so I’m waiting for May flowers and sunshine!
This month’s Club Set brings plenty of sunshine and flowers! garden2stamp is a happy and adorable to set! There’s even a companion set available called patterns4garden.
Are you ready for some fun, cute, easy cards?
Here’s a fun and easy card that would be a perfect end of the year teacher card… I began by diecutting the Exclusive Circle Flip-it . Next, I cut all of my layering pieces. I stamped my sentiment and adhered the panel to my card. On the other panel, I arranged all of my flowers where I wanted them (the flowers are all part of the set) and ran it through my diecutting machine. It’s fun and different to use the negative pieces sometimes! I finished my card panel by adding the garden tools to the panel. Next was the focal part of my card… easy peasy! I die cut and colored my watering can and flowers and arranged them on my panel how I wanted them. I glued them down and finished it off by adding a little heart to the corner of the can.
Now I was on to the inside…
I stamped the rest of my sentiment, used the pieces from my flowers on the front panel and lastly cut and colored the garden tool. Easy and cute!
I LOVE Box Cards and this die set makes it super easy to make them!
For this card, I simply assembled the box card after diecutting my pieces. Stephanie has a great video HERE that explains how to put it together and shows all the layering pieces included in the set! It’s really easy! I added my watering can to the front panel and layered it with a flower stamp also included in the set. I added my hearts to the other two panels and was on to the inside of the box. I die cut grass and trimmed it down to fit in the box. Next, I tore Gingersnap card stock and with a stiff brush speckled the matching ink on my paper to resemble “dirt.” I attached those pieces inside the box and finished with the garden tools and flowers. Finally, I added my sentiment and the sun.
Next up is patterns4garden. There’s not only patterns but also more sentiments to choose from in the set!
Solids, polka dots or chevron…. your choice! I used a few different ones on my card!
Another easy card…. I simply die cut and adhered my fence pieces to the card and finished it off by adding different patterned watering cans, flowers and stamped this fun sentiment!
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful day! All papers and inks I used on my cards can be found HERE. AND… for some more inspiration check out the Gallery for more fun samples from the team:)
