A Mug of Hot Cocoa…. Blog Hop with Stamps of Life and Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Happy National Hot Cocoa Day! To celebrate, The Stamps of Life is participating in a Hot Cocoa Blog Hop with Coffee Loving Cardmakers, fun!!! Come hop along with us!!!

I made a fun card using TSOL hotchocolate2stamp with coordinating Hot Chocolate Dies I don’t know about you, but where I live it’s the perfect day for some hot cocoa! Brrrr…

No stamping on my cardfront, all die cutting with a little coloring. For my card-base, I used Strawberry Cardstock. I folded the 8.5 x 11 cardstock into fourths. Next, I opened my cardstock and used the Sizzix Big Shot PLUS Machine with Border Dies to create a pocket to hold my packet of hot cocoa. Before gluing the bottom of my pocket, I die cut a Large Rectangle from Celebrate Collection Patterned Paper.

Now, on to the cardfront…

I die cut my mug using Ho Ho Ho Collection Patterned Paper and then colored the inside of my mug to look like cocoa. I diecut the “steam” and marshmallows from Powdered Sugar Cardstock. Next, I decorated the front of my mug by layering first the W Circle Die and then the Stitched Circle Die. I embellished it with a tree.

Who doesn’t enjoy a cookie or two with their cocoa? I added a small plate made with Stitched Oval Dies die cut from patterned paper filled with tree cookies sprinkled with glitter.

I finished the inside off with Christmas Patterned Paper and stamped my sentiment on a die cut heart from Green Apple Cardstock.

I made this fun Christmas card, too! I used foxes2stamp Dies to spell out BELIEVE and this cute little elf is from elves2stamp with dies. I love the versatility in this die set!

Hello Friends! Happy December 1st! I am so excited to shared this month’s Club Set with you because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!!! icecreamtruck2stamp is this month’s set and it’s so cute!

On this card, I filled the truck with cupcakes and icecream…. and the truck fits perfectly on the Sizzix Square Stand-UPS Card Die Set It makes a really fun birthday card!

How about a cup of coffee? You can even fill the truck with coffee!

I paired this card with Coffee Statement Set because to me, yes, coffee is ALWAYS a good idea! Add some candy canes and it’s even better;)
