Sizzix/SB Stocking Set- The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and long weekend!  I guess it’s official, the holoiday season has begun… Over the weekend I didn’t buy one single Christmas gift BUT I did make some of my Christmas cards, actually quite a few!

I’m loving the Sizzix Stocking Set that was designed by Stephanie at The Stamps of Life.

There are 18 pieces in the die set and the stocking card is the standard A2 Sized Card.

Here are a few of my cards that I’ll be sending out this season….

I mixed and matched various papers from my stash and trimmed my cards with felt.

This year, instead of sending one Christmas card to both of my parents, I decided to personalize one individually for each of them.

And this is for my mom….

I made some others for family and relatives too, but can’t post them quite yet…. I want them to be surprised!  I personalized them using Quirky Alphabet Dies  by TSOL. I may even have to personalize one for my grandcats and add a Petco gift card for each of them;)

How is your holiday shopping and card making going?  Considering it’s not December 1st yet and most of my cards are made, I’m feeling pretty good:) I tend to procrastinate, but I’m determined this year to finish everything early!

Same die set, totally different look!  This time I paired the set with Flower Power Dies and Sizzix Tags & Words Stamps & Dies.

Happy Birthday Card Front & Take the Cake Stamp and Die Set- The Stamps of Life

Happy Wednesday!  There’s some fun, new releases today at The Stamps of Life !!!  Both releases are “Flash Sale” items, YAY!  The first release I’m sharing is the Sizzix/SB Happy Birthday Card Front.  This card front die makes a super cute card in no time at all!

Here are a few that I made:

This card took no time at all to make… No stamping involved here, all die cuts. I decided that I wanted my card to be “see through” and on the inside I paired my card front die with Sizzix/SB Triplits Cupcake.

This card is super sparkly in real life. I love using different glitter papers! Once again no stamping…  I added some stars, shimmery yarn and the Sizzix/SB Triplits Party Hat to add a little more interest to my card front.

And one more… I first die cut this in Powdered Sugar cardstock, and then I  masked off different sections of the card front using post it notes. Next,  I used 5 different ink pad colors and dragged them one by one across the paper to acheive the vibrant colors. I embellished with ribbon and flowers from TSOL.  I love all the “happy” colors!

Take the cake Stamps and Dies

Last year,  TSOL released cake2stamp which is ALMOST the same as the new Sizzix/SB Take the Cake stamp/die set.  There are a few differences… The differences are that the cake is smaller and there are fewer sentiments, but there is a die that cuts out the sentiment, which is really nice:)

Along with the cake stamp, I paired different layers of Scalloped Rectangles  and  the recently released Small Bow Dies  to make this card.

One last card for today…

As I mentioned above, there is a die that cuts out your sentiment.  I used it here and  love it!  I think it’s a nice addition and adds more interest to your card with the sentiment cut out.  For my card base I used Sizzix/SB Drop-in Card Front Dies  and Sizzix/SB Banner Drop-ins Set .

Pudgie Dog 3 & Tinyand2Cute Dies- The Stamps of Life

Are you ready for some cuteness?  Today at The Stamps of Life it’s a release day and Stephanie has released another “pudgie” in her series of pudgie animals.  It’s dog3pudgie10 stamp/die set and he is just adorable!!!  He comes with some great sentiments, too!

I have three different pudgie cards to share with you today…..

I told you, isn’t he a cutie?!  To make my card front, I put my pudgie inside TSOL Photo Frame  that I cut.  The die cut “Ruff” and sentiment are included in the set.

Here’s a look at the inside:

I love pop-up cards and I use this die all the time…. It’s simple to use and I really like the font.  It’s called Sizzix/SB You are Awesome 3-D Drop-ins Sentiments.  I think it’s a fun, unexpected surprise for whoever you are making the card for, young or old!

This time,  I put my pudgie dog  into a box card using TSOL Exclusive Box Card Die Set along with the Sizzix/SB Tree Step-Ups Card Set to make my grass, tree and sun.  I used the Small Bow Die  to decorate the front of my box.

And one more card…

I used the Sizzix/SB Scalloped Circle Stand-Ups Card Die Set to make this card. The tag that I stamped my sentiment on is called Stitched Tags, and it’s exclusive to TSOL.

Hotchocolate2Stamp- The Stamps of Life

Hi everyone!  I’m back with a second post today featuring the November Stamps of Life Club Set called hotchocolate2stamp.  If you’re a Die Hard Club Member, these stamps and dies are on their way to you! YIPPEE!  I know I always say it, but I truly LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set!  It’s too cute for words!

WARNING!  I have quite a few cards to share with you, I just couldn’t stop making them!

I adhered my mug on Sizzix/SB Dotted Oval Dies. It didn’t photograph well, but I also sprinkled white  glitter on my whipped cream to give it a sugary look. YUM!

Once again, I used the dotted ovals along with TSOL Stitched Circles, TSOL Small Bow Dies and Mitten Dies.

I used fun foam to puff up my whipped cream and decorated my mug with snowman2build with  dies. I used Stitched Oval Dies to make my plate filled with “gingerbread cookies.”  Sorry, Im not sure where I got, or who made the stickers,  because they were in my “junk bin” just stuck to accetate.

This stamp set works great to use with a pocket card!  Simple little card to lift somebody’s spirits!  I die cut my felt snowflake using Ornament Club Die Set  and trimmed my card with TSOL Scallop Border Dies.

I used MINI Square Stand-Up as my card base for this one, and the new glitter paper is so heavy and sturdy it worked perfectly as “steam.”

I used TSOL Scalloped Rectangles as my card and die cut a small heart to make the “shaker heart.”

The inside looks like this:

Happy Statement Set- The Stamps of Life

Happy November 1st!  Can you believe it?  It’s so hard to believe… Partly because the days sure do fly by,  and also because here in New England we broke a record for being the warmest October on record!  I have to say that November is starting off with a definite chill in the air!

  The first of the month means new stamps and dies at The Stamps of Life, Woo HOO!  I LOVE all the releases today, and this is the first of my two posts today.

Stephanie came out with another set in her word statements called Happy Statenment Set.  It’s also a Flash Sale item TODAY!!!

This is such a versatile set!

Here are some of my creations using this set:

 It fits perfectly on the Sizzix/SB Gift Fold -it set! I die cut my TSOL felt using Sizzix Flower Layers & Lealf Thinlits Die Set and stamped on Sizzix Tags & Word Stamps & Dies.

Yes, Choose To Be Happy!  I love this sentiment, and to me, Yellow is such a happy color!  I embellished my card with TSOL Shabby Chic Flower Dies and stamped on the die cut  arrows included in Sizzix/SB Scalloped Circle Stand-Ups Card Set.

Lastly, a shaker card.  I was never a fan of making shakers until Stephanie came out with her double sided adhesive foam. If you like making shakers and want to make it a million times easier, check out this foam.  I guarantee you, you wont have beads and sequins falling out the sides of your card! I embellished the side of my cards using flower dies from the Sizzix/SB Mini Square Stand-Up Card Set.
