Owl Always Love You Valentine

Happy Saturday Everyone!  I hope you’re having a great one.  Today I’m sharing a card I made for my son and his very soon to be wife.  It’s a fun, and I thought fitting card because he is a forester and they love the outdoors.  It went together very quickly, and I think it turned out kind of cute.

Everything I used can be found over at The Stamps of Life, here except for the punch I used for the greenery and the embossing folder.

To make this card I used the following products:

TSOL owls2love stamp & die set, TSOL Large Rectangle Dies, Sizzix Circle Dies, Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Heart Step-Ups Card Set for heart and die cut Love, Martha Stewart greenery punch and Darcie embossing folder.

Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty Challenge

Hello!  Today I’m sharing a card that I’m entering into a challenge here  at Dragonfly Journeys.  I actually don’t have any pets at all, but two of my sons have cats that I babysit  from time to time.  So…. technically I guess I’m a grandmother to their cats until real grandchildren come along!

To make this card I used the following stamps & dies: On My Couch by Papertrey, The Stamps of Life Stitched Rectangle Dies, Sizzix Mini Tags & Words, Hero Arts for the sentiment, and A Child’s Year Criciut Cartridge for my kitty.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate ALL of your visits, questions and comments!  Until the next time…. Happy Stamping!

Uplifting Words

Hello!  Hope you’re having a great start to your weekend.  Today I’m sharing a new stamp and die set I just got from The Stamps of Life.  The stamp set has been out for a while, but I finally ordered it… Another one I can now cross off of my very long wishlist:)  The stitched rectangle dies are new to the TSOL, and I knew I had to have these right away.  They never even made it to the list!

The first card I’m sharing today is a fun shaker card.  This is going to a special friend who is just as the sentiment says, awesome.

IMG_2738

I used the following TSOL products to make this card: Stitched Rectangle Set, upliftingwords2hear,Triplits Butterfly & Mini Flower Dies

Inside the shaker I added some bright, fun confetti:)

Next up is a card that I made ” just because” that will go into my stash of cards.

This was so much fun to make!!!  I used my watercolor crayons to create my rainbow on watercolor paper, then I stamped the sentiment and umbrella, and lastly embellished.

I used the following stamps & dies to make this card:

Stitched Rectangle Set, upliftingwords2hear, umbrella4you & Mini Flower Dies

Birthday Celebration Cards

Hello!  I’m here today to share some birthday cards that I made over the weekend. It’s a busy birthday month, but I think I have them all covered!

My first card is a very clean and simple shaker card.  I love shaker cards, and don’t make them nearly often enough.  I recently got a new fuse tool, which makes them a whole lot easier and less time consuming to make.  Definitely worth the investment if you like to make shaker cards!

IMG_2727

All stamps and dies I used can be found over at The Stamps of Life. I used the following products to make this card: Sizzix Circle Framelits Die Set, candles4birthday for the sentiment, Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Happy Birthday Step-Up Card Set for the cupcake and candle.  I added some ribbon, a flower embellishment from TSOL, enamel dots for dimension and lastly some fun birthday confetti.

Next up is a box card I made for a coworker who is celebrating her 60th birthday.  I know I’ve been sharing quite a few of these lately, but I totally LOVE making them, and can’t get enough!

IMG_2736

The Box Card Die I used for this is from The Stamps of Life.  The dress die is from Stampin’Up and is now retired along with the stamped sentiment.  The cupcake is a sticker, and all other dies are also from TSOL. Isn’t this fun?  Do you see how addicting these cards can be to make???  The best part…. they go together so quickly, but the recipient would never guess!

Last up is a bright and cheerful birthday card.  Once again everything I used can be found at The Stamps of Life.

I used the following products to create this card: Large Rectangle Dies, TSOL patterned paper, Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Oval Flip-Its Card Set (Happy Birthday die) Tags & Words and Mini Flower Dies.

A Valentine and Notes to Self

Hello!  I hope you’re having a fabulous start to your weekend!  I’m here today to share a Valentine and two “notes to self” cards. You can find everything I used to make these cards here at The Stamps of Life.

My first card uses the Heart Step-Ups Card Die Set by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard, chalksayings2stamp, Sizzix/S.B. Bird & Tree Stamp/Die Set and the You & Me sentiment is part of the Sizzx/S.B. 3D Banner Drop-Ins Set

IMG_2716

This will be my husband’s Valentines Day card:)

The last two are also made using all The Stamps of Life stamps & dies.

IMG_2720

Isn’t this a fun card?  I was inspired by a card that was similiar to this in TSOL gallery. To make this card I used list2write, faces4stamps and Notebook Edge Die.  The sentiment is from lemonade2drink

IMG_2718

I used brushstrokes2stamp for the three sentiments on this one, and added a few stickers.  Simple, but cute!  And…. some positive reminders that we all need to remind ourselves of from time to time!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate all of your visits, questions and comments!  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

Lastly, I made a clean ans simple card which would be perfect for a coworker who is sick.

Bandages and Well Wishes Cards

Hello!  Brrrrr…. Very Chilly here in New England, and it now officially feels like winter! ( HUGE DISLIKE)  Today I’m sharing my January Club Set from The Stamps of Life with you. It’s called bandage2stamp.

This is the perfect set for me to play with because I’m recovering from a concussion!  Another reason why I dislike winter so much is because of ice…  I’m most definitely a summer time girl!   Over this past week I slipped on ice walking down my stairs and took quite a fall.  It was very scary, but as each day passes I feel more like my old self again. Thank goodness!

I’m loving and having lots of fun with this set!

You can find it here:

IMG_2669

I love the fun and bright colors on this one and how you can add a smile to the bandage!

IMG_2671

To make the face on this bandage, I used faces4stamps which also can be found at TSOL.

Lastly, I made one of my favorite cards to make, a Flip-Its.  This one is Large Circle #4 Flip-Its .  I also used faces4stamps  and Tags & Words.

IMG_2654

This card just makes me smile!  I can’t get enough of these box cards!  This one will go to my future daughter-in-law who owns an adorable cat and volunteers at a cat shelter.  It’s purrrrrrrrfect for her!  Sorry, I couldn’t resist;)

On My Couch Cards

Hello, and Happy New Year!  Can you believe it, 2016?  My wish for you is a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Today I’m sharing four cards that I made using my new stamp set that I got for Christmas.  It’s called On My Couch made by Papertrey Ink.  I love the images and all of the sentiments that come with it too.  I just might have treat myself to the additional stamp set that coordinates with it! These cards were so much fun to make:)

IMG_2641.JPG

For my first card I used the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Royal Stand-Up Card Die Set.  This is for my sister-in-law’s birthday.  The dog is not part of the stamp set, I cut it out with my Cricut.  Her grand dog is a Black Lab who she loves, so I thought I’d add him in the card.

IMG_2633

This is another version of it… I liked the dog so much I added him in the card again.  I also felt it went well with the sentiment.  It’s a simple card, but I think it’s sweet.

IMG_2637

I used the same design for this card, but added a different fun and cute sentiment.

IMG_2638

Lastly, I wanted to make a masculine card and this is what I came up with.  I love the little side table with the coffee and lamp.  The sentiment… well, it speaks for itself!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate ALL of your visits, questions and comments.  Be sure to stop back again soon!  Until the next time…. Happy Stamping!
