Be a Butterfly…

Hello everyone!  I made this card earlier in the week, but just getting around to posting it.  Last week I went to the Creating Keepsakes Convention and bought lots of fun new stamps and dies!  Ahhh… a stamper’s paradise for sure!

My favorite booth was The Stamps of Life.  I bought this stamp set because first of all, I LOVE the sentiment and a big bonus…I already owned the dies that go with it.  The set is called Triplit Butterfly & triplitbutterfly2stamp  It can be found here at TSOL.

I also entered this card into a challenge over at Splitcoaststampers.  It was Monday’s Clean and Simple Challenge “Let the background talk”.  I chose to use watercolors for my background.  The challenge is here

A House Without A Dog…

Hello everyone!  I’m here today with a quick share.  This morning I was talking to a friend who REALLY, REALLY wants to get a dog.  She lost her furry family member a few months back and is trying to convince her husband to let her get a cute little Maltese puppy.  I thought I would try to influence him by sending him this card;)  Time will tell if it works, but it’s worth a try!

Hap’bee’ Birthday

Hello!  Hope your weekend is off to a spectacular start! Today I’m here to share a fun birthday card for you using bee4me by The Stamps of Life.

Those of you who follow me know that I’m a huge fan of TSOL.  Well, yesterday I got to meet Stephanie and her husband Ken at a Creating Keepsakes Convention!  I can tell you that Stephanie is as genuine as they come and Ken is just as awesome!

Needless to say, I spent lots of time and money in TSOL booth… It was definitely a favorite of mine.  The card I’m sharing with you today uses some of the goodies I picked up.  The bee set is one that I have had my eye on for quite some time and the basket die is a new item out.  You can find the stamp set here and the basket die here.

This was super quick and easy to make.  The inside sentiment says Hap’bee’ Birthday:)  The photograph of the card doesn’t really show it, but I used pop dots to give the bee some dimension.

5×7 Square Flip-Its Kindness Card

Hello!  I’m here to share a card that went together very quickly with no stamping involved, all die cuts.  For the base of my card I used the new 5×7 Square Flip-Its Card Set by Sizzix/SB.  Mine was a gift, but you can find it here over at The Stamps of Life.

The sentiment I used on the front of the card is one of the dies in the Kind Sentiments Step-Ups Card Set by Sizzix/SB. You can find it here.

I left the flip side blank so I could easily write my message.  There’s so much more room to write in this larger size:)

Very simple, but I think pretty!  I love how all of the dies are so versatile!

In the Doghouse

Hello!  I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend so far.  Here in New England it is absolutely gorgeous out!  The best part… I’m on vacation this week:)  Can you hear my cheers?!

Last week I took advantage of a “Flash Sale” that took place over at The Stamps of Life.  I got these adorable stamps and dies for half the price!  The set is called house4cookie with Doghouse dies .  I already own birthday4cookie and treats4cookie so it was a great addition to my collection!

First up is the doghouse.  I’m happy to say I can put this card away for another day… I know of no one in the “doghouse” at the moment!  The big question is: Will I remember where it is when I need it?

Next up is a Step-Up card.  To make this card I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Kind Sentiments Step-Ups Card Die Set found here. This is a new to me die set that I love!

Last up is  friend card.  I have to say, I think Cookie looks so cute tied to the fire hydrant!

More “Cherry”-Ful Cards

Hello everyone!  I’m back today to share a few more cards I made with my April Club Set from The Stamps of Life.  Previously, I posted a couple, and over the weekend added a few more to my collection.  The stamp and die set is called cherries2stamp and can be found here  along with some of the other products I used.

The first card I’m sharing is a happy one, that could be used for any happy occasion.  I added some smiles on the cherries from faces4stamps

The”happy” patterned paper and stitched rectangle die can also be found be found over at TSOL  The oval dies are made by Spellbinders.

My next card uses Sizzix/SB Basic Step-Up Card Die Set.  This was so simple to make! Nope, absolutely no stamping…. All die cuts.   I used the cherry bowl die from my club set, along with a “hello” die from TSOL.

I found a few flower stickers in my stash, added some ribbon and had a bright and cheerful card:)

Last up is another bright card.  I love bright and vibrant colors! I did a little watercoloring for my background on this card.  Once again, I combined a couple sets from TSOL. Along with cherries2stamp, the”Hello” was a free stamp we received in our Club Set.  Every couple of months we get a nice little surprise included in our set!  The cupcake is from a Flip-Its Card Die Set. I try to use all my stamps & dies together to justify my “addiction” LOL! 😉

TSOL is coming to a CKC in my area in less than 2 weeks… I’m in trouble!  It just so happens to be on my school break again this year:)  It will definitely be a highlight of my vacation!  A stamper’s heaven:)

A Bowl of Cherries

Hello everyone!  Today, I’m sharing my new April club set from The Stamps of Life.  It’s called cherries2stamp and it comes with some adorable stamps and dies!  I came home from work today and they were waiting for me in my mailbox:)  Mother Nature is playing a cruel trick on us here in New England… It’s snowing out:(  HUGE DISLIKE!!!!  To keep my mind off of that white stuff falling from the sky, I decided to play with my new stamps.

I’m entering my first card into a challenge over at Dragonfly Journeys.  The Challenge is to use a tag in anyway.  Easy peasy and fun!  You can find the challenge here

This is what I came up with!

The inside sentiment says: To call You My Friend!

I paired cherries2stamp with Sizzix/SB Mini Flower Dies, Sizzix/SB Tags & Words and Stitched Rectangle Dies

Next up, is a different version using a different sentiment that comes in the set.

I added some frowns on the cherries, using faces4stamps and used a fruity embossing folder by Provo Craft.  This card states exactly how I feel about our spring snowstorm today!

Thank you and Birthday 5×7 Flip-Its

Hello!  I hope the start of the weekend is going well for you.  It’s been a busy start for me, but I managed to find some time to play.  Today, I’m sharing two different 5×7 sized Flip-Its cards with you.  I have several different Flip-Its dies, but I’m loving this larger size!  So much more space to embellish and write:)

My first card is a fun Thank you card.  The die is made by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard called Framelits Plus Flip-Its 661124 paired with Butterfly Triplits by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard

A fast and simple card, but fun and vibrant!

Next up, is a birthday card that I made a little while ago, but just getting around to posting.  This is another version of the 5×7 Flip-Its.  It’s called 5×7 Happy Birthday Flip-Its by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard  The felt flowers did not come with the set, I found these at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store

You can find this Birthday card die and Butterfly Triplit set here at The Stamps of Life.  The Framelits Plus Flip-Its was a gift I received that was ordered online, but I’m not sure where it was ordered from.
