You Are My Sunshine, Mother’s Day Box Card-The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!  I have a quick share today of a card I made for my mom for Mother’s Day, which is coming up before you know it!  I love box cards, my mom loves flowers and birds, so I decided to incorporate those three things. This exclusive Box Card Die from The Stamps of Life makes it so easy.  If you’ve never seen this die before, this is what it looks like.

There are so many great dies, and so easy to make a box card.  Stephanie has a great how to video here.

Medium Chevron Background Die Exclusive to The Stamps of Life

Hello everyone!  TGIF to many of you, I personally would like to see the week last a little longer, since I’m on my April school vacation….  I think I have 40 days until the summer break, but who’s counting?  I really do LOVE teaching, but I’m a summer time girl and can’t wait for it to get here:)

The Stamps of Life has released a brand new die that is exclusive to them, and it’s called the Medium Chevron Background Die set.

This is such a great die, because you can create so many different color combos and backgrounds with it.

I have two different cards to share that I made using it.

For this card, I first die cut the chevron using TSOL Gingersnap cardstock and mounted it on my card front of  TSOL Candy cardstock.  I then die cut the chevron again on TSOL Powdered Sugar cardstock,  and paper pieced the white in between the Gingersnap to add to the pattern.  I die cut the exclusive TSOL Stitched Circles and then stamped on the circle using coffee4two stamp/die set. The “Call Me” is from one of TSOL Patterned Papers, I’m just not sure which one because it was in my scrap bin.  Sorry…. I added twine and an enamel dot, and was finished.  A quick and easy card!

For my next card, I wanted to make a nautical baby card. I used TSOL Strawberry Cardstock to die cut my chevron, and then mounted it onto my cardfront which is made from TSOL Blueberry cardstock.  I LOVE Blue and red together! I stamped on Powdered Sugar Cardstock with TSOL matching inks and used onsie4baby stamp/die set.  Next,  I stamped the sentiment on a tag from the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Tags & Words Stamps/Dies set.  Once again, I added twine and enamel dots for interest and fun.

Two different cards, but both so easy using this background die!

Dog Sugar Pudgie by The Stampsof Life

Hello everyone!  I hope you’re well and having a great week.  We’re half way there until the weekend:)

Today I have a super fun, adorable stamp/die set to share with you called dogsugarpudgie2stamp.

It’s the third set released, exclusive to TSOL, in a brand new series of pudgie stamps and dies. Last month they sold out immediately, so if you think you like this set, don’t wait to order!

Here are some fun cards I made using this set:

For this card, I wanted to make it a stand-up version, so I paired the stamp set with Sizzix Kind Sentiments Step-Ups Card Die Set.

I think this card would be great to send to someone who is getting a new puppy:)! I paired this card with a couple of different dies.  The dotted circles are from Sizzix Circles, Dotted Framelits Die Set, that you can find here. To make my little basket, I trimmed down the Sizzix Flower Basket Thinlits Die Set for my pudgie dog to fit into, and finished it off by adding a little heart.  Isn’t he/she cute?

Here’s my last card for today using this set.  I love these colors together…. I wanted a black puppy, so I embossed him in  white to make him “pop.” In addition to the stamp set, I stamped and layered on Sizzix Dotted Rectangle Dies and used TSOL exclusive Grass Die.  I think this is a fun and happy card!

The Stamps of Life 2017 April Card Kit

Hello everyone!  This is my second post today because it’s the 15th of April, which means the April 2017 Card Kit Club has been released!

So many fun things in this kit!

Here’s three different cards I made using this kit!

In addition to the card kit, I used Newport Flower Dies which I absolutely love, and use all the time.

I paired this one with the Oval Flip-its Card Die Set because the sun worked perfectly with this stamp.

And one last card….

Sizzix Gift Drop-in & Sizzix Banner Drop-in Cards

Hello everybody!  Happy Saturday!  I hope your weekend is off to a great start:)  As for me, I’m officially on vacation, so mine is off to a wonderful start!  Today at The Stamps of Life there are some great NEW RELEASES, and they are BOTH a Flash Sale item! The first set is called Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Gift Drop-in Set.

Here are two cards I made using this die.

It’s never too early to start on Christmas cards…right?  For the base of my card I used Sizzix Flowers/Sentiments Scalloped Edge Drop-ins. The sentiment on this card is from ornaments4Christmas stamp set.

And here is the other one…

Same card base as above, I just mounted it on to an A2 card front and used all dies.

I love how versatile all of these dies are!

Next up, is the Sizzix Banner Drop ins Set.

I used Sizzix/ Stephanie Barnard Drop-in Card Front with Script Dies as my card base for these cards.

The sentiment is from kids2love.

My next card is another version of this set, but a masculine one.  I always seem to struggle with masculine cards, so I think I may be usuing this die quite often:) The papers and die worked perfectly to create a masculine version.

Two different cards, and both so simple.

Extras4Lions

Hello everyone!  I hope you’re weekend is off to a great start!  I have a few cards to share with you today using extras4lions from The Stamps of Life.

This set coordinates with the April Club Set called lion2stamp that was released on the first of this month:)

It’s no secret… I am NOT a colorer, so this is the perfect coordinating set.

Here are some fun cards I made using these sets along with some other Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard products.

I love polka dots…and love this dotted mane on this little guy. I used TSOL Grass Die, Mini Flower Dies and HelloSunshine, Triplit for my sun along with my lion sets.

A blue lion?  Why not:) I love the softness with the pop of color. For the base of my card I used the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Scalloped Edge Drop-In Die Set.

For this card, I made my own patterned paper with the cute, little lion stamp.  I thought this sentiment worked great with this Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard A2 Half Card Die Set, along with TSOL Grass Die. 

Here’s a fun Step-Up card I made using the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Heart Step-Ups Die Set.

And one more….

For this card, I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Square 5×7 Flip-its Card Set and the little paws are from Cat2Stamp stamp/die set.

Happy4Banners TWO

Hello everyone!  It’s the 7th of the month, which means NEW RELEASES at The Stamps of Life!  You can never have too many banner dies…. and this one is no exception.  It’s called happy4bannerstwo and it comes with so many fabulous sentiments!

Here are some of the cards I made using this set:)

This was a fun and happy card to make!  I paired it with Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Hello, Sunshine Triplits, which coordinates perfectly with this banner.

For this card I used Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Square Stand Up for my card base and the stamp/die set called kite2fly.

It also works great with Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard It’s A Party Die Set that was released just last week!

And one last card….

I used the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard Half A2 Card Die Set to make this card.

TSOL Lion2Stamp, Sweet Statement Set and Sizzix It’s A Party Die Set

Hello everyone!  It’s the first of April which means NEW releases from The Stamps of Life, “And I’m Not Lion!” How cute is this?!

This set is called lion2stamp and it has coordinating dies.

Here are a few cards I made using this new, fun set!

I think this lion is just adorable!  I teach Kindergarten and I plan on making multiples of these for my students:) I also used Sizzix Dotted Circle Dies along with Sizzix Love You Circle Die.

This is a very CAS card, but I like the simplicity of it….

And one more…

I used Sizzix Drop-in Script Dies for my die cut sentiment at the top of my card, which I thought paired perfectly with set.
