Hello, Happy Day Card

Hello everyone!  I’m here today to share two different styles of “drop-in” cards, all merged into one. If you saw my last post, I shared the die that I’m using today, but this is a different version.  It’s super fun and easy to make! There is NO stamping involed to make these cards, just die cutting.  All dies were designed by Stephanie Barnard for Sizzix, and can be found here at The Stamps of Life.

Here’s the outside of my card:

To make my card base, I used Sizzix/SB Flowers/Sentiments Scalloped Edge Drop-Ins Set. The “hello is a die from Notebook Edge and Hello Dies.

And here’s the inside:

To create the inside of my card, I used two different dies.  The inside scalloped edge was made using Sizzix/SB Scallop with Gifts Drop-Ins, which is needed to make this fun sentiment, It’s A Happy Day 3-D Pop-Up. Lastly, I added the flower for some additional interest using Sizzix/SB Flower Layers and Leaf Die Set.

As I said, these cards are super EASY and FUN to make!  If you visit The Stamps of Life and click on any of the products, Stephanie has some great tutorials on how to use these dies, as well as any of her other products.  She makes cardmaking so easy!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate ALL visits, questions and comments!  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

It’s A Happy Day Pop-Up Card

Hello everyone!  Today, I’m sharing my new favorite kind of card to make, a pop-up card!  I used to make them a long time ago, but would get frustrated with all the measuring, cutting and scoring.  No more!  The Stamps of Life has come out with some super cute dies that make it simple!  I made mine into a birthday card for my niece.

The card front looks like your basic A2 size card.

I used my die from the Sizzix 5×7 Circle Flip-Its Card Set to create Happy Birthday, and I used faces4stamps and stamped them on to Sizzix Circle Dies.to make my faces:) Then, I used Sizzix Triplits Cake to die cut my candle. This patterned paper from Happy Collection worked perfectly for this card!

When you open the card, surprise!  It’s a pop-up!  I just love any type of interactive card, and as I said, this is EASY PEASY!  I like that even better:)

Isn’t this fun?!    To add some interest, I also used Stitched Circle Dies and Dotted Circle Dies for some different faces.  The “Smile” sentiment is also from faces4stamps that I mentioned above. How can you not feel happy with all those smiles smiling at you?:)  Check out my Stamps of Life link above to see all the latest pop-ups.  I know I’ll be adding more to my collection!

Succulents2Stamp

Hi everyone!  Today, I have a super quick, easy and fun card to share with you.  It’s the January Club Set from The Stamps of Life. It’s a great stamp and die set called succulents2stamp, and it has some awesome coordinating sets that go along with it!  This is what the basic stamp and die set look like.

Here’s my card:

In addition to the succulent2stamp stamp/die set, I also used Stitched Rectangle Dies, Scalloped Circle Dies and TSOL Patterned Paper, Cardstock and Stephanie Barnard Dye Inks.

As you can see, not much stamping, I mainly used die cuts to create my card.  Super quick, super easy, but I still like how it turned out.  For more ideas, check out the Gallery at The Stamps of Life.  Maybe even add your own card to the Gallery:)
