Thinking of You Drop-In Card

Hello everyone!  I can’t believe it, my last post of 2016…. This year sure flew by!  I don’t have a Happy New Year card to share today, but I’m sharing a card I made for a very special Aunt, who is very sick in the hospital right now.  I’m hoping 2017 brings her good health and this card cheers her up!

Everything I used can be found at The Stamps of Life

The base of my card is a Drop-In Die which I love!  It really makes card making so easy!  This Drop-In die is called Sizzix/SB Scalloped Edge Drop-Ins.  The sweet little bird is Sizzix/SB Triplits Spring Bird.  I added some flowers on the corners of my card for interest called NewportFlower2Stamp Dies, and added the enamel dots and ribbon for more texture. The Friend Collection Patterned Paper coordinates beautifully with the Triplit Bird.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Tomorrow is the New Year AND First of the Month!  That means new stamps and dies being released at The Stamps of Life!  Be sure to stop back here to see some samples of the new releases…You’re going to LOVE the new stamps and dies!

I truly appreciate ALL visits, questions and comments!  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

TV2Stamp Card

Hello everyone!  I’m back today with a quick share of a card I made for my son.  Over Christmas, one of my three sons was home visiting with his cat, my “grandcat,” and my husband and I brought them home yesterday. Fortunately, he only lives an hour away from me, but I always hate to see him leave when he comes home for a visit.  I thought sending this card to him may give him a chuckle and a smile:)

Everything I used to create this card  can be found at The Stamps of Life.

I used Large Rectangle Dies  Stitched Circle Dies happymail2stamp  stamp2build  cat2stamp Sizzix/SB Tags & Words TSOL cardstock and Patterned Paper.

Here’s my card:)

Believe Card

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a joyous holiday!  I can not beleive that 2017 is right around the corner…This past year sure has flown by, it was a very busy and happy year for me.  I can’t wait to see was 2017 has in store!

Speaking of happy, I have some exciting and happy news to share.  It’s no secret how much I love The Stamps of Life and all of their products…Earlier in the month, I received an early Christmas present, I was invited to be on The Stamps of Life Design Team!!!  I’m so very excited and honored to be on a team with such a talented, and wonderful group of women!  Be sure to keep checking back to see the latest and greatest releases from TSOL:)

Today, I’m sharing a card I made for a friend who needed a little “lift” in her day.  All stamps and dies can be found at The Stamps of Life. To make this card, I used the following stamps and dies: Sizzix/SB Square Card Front, Newport Flower Dies and the “Believe” sentiment from upliftingwords2hear. The Square Card Front is a fairly new release, along with Newportflowers2stamp stamp and die set.  I took advantage of a recent “Flash Sale” and ordered them for myself.  I love the both of them!

Here’s my card

No stamping, other than the sentiment on this card, but paired with these beautiful dies, it’s just enough!

Bear2stamp and Stand-Up Circle Card

Hello everyone!  I hope you had a great weekend.  It was a snowy one where I live, so that forced me to stay indoors and finish up my gift wrapping.  Yay! I think I’m officially finished:)

Today, I’m sharing two cards with you.  The first one is a Christmas card.  I thought I was finished with my Christmas cards, and then I realized I needed ONE more.  Recently at The Stamps of Life, this new Stand-Ups Card Die Set was released.  It’s called Sizzix/SB Stand-Ups Circle Set and you can find it here.

I used a couple additional dies and paired it with this card die set.   I used Sizzix/SB Scalloped Circles and a tree die from the stockings2stamp die set.  The patterned paper is from The Ho Ho Ho Patterned Paper Collection.  I added the green jewel, some pop-pom trim and was done.  Fun and simple!

Next up, is a card from the December Die-Hard Club Set at The Stamps of Life called bear2stamp with coordinating dies.  I just love this set… The bear is sooo cute!

 img_2178

I wasn’t sure if I’d like the bear in black, but after stamping him in white ink and embossing it, I love him in black!  The flower he’s holding is not included in this set.  The flower is from Sizzix/SB Flowers & Vase Stamp/Die Set.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I truly appreciate ALL visits, questions and comments!  Until the next time… Happy Stamping!

Mitten Gift Card Holder Flip-Its Card

Hello everyone!  Ten days until Christmas…Can you believe it?  Are you ready?  I think I have the gift part done, but wrapping is another story, and I won’t even mention the cooking and baking that needs to get done!  Amazingly, it all gets done every year and this year will be no different.

This year I’m giving several gift cards as gifts, so I’m sharing one of my gift card, card holders with you today.  All stamps and dies I used are from The Stamps of Life.  For the base of my card I used the Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard  Rectangle/Gift Card Flip-Its Card Set. I love this die set because it’s so versatile. It can be a regular rectangle flip-its card, or you can die cut the panel to become a gift card holder.  It’s one of my most used dies that I own.

On the front panel I used TSOL patterned paper from the Ho, Ho, Ho Collection. I used Stitched Rectangle Dies for my front panel and die cut mittens2stamp.   Every now and then I like to use those nontraditional Christmas colors!

And here’s a peek inside:)

More Christmas Cards

Hi everyone!  It’s beginning to look a lot  like Christmas in my New England town…. We have some snow on the ground, and more is expected tomorrow!  Last year on Christmas day it was 70 degrees:)  I’d prefer that over snow anyday….  That’s life in New England, but I have to say I do enjoy having four seasons!

Today I’m sharing two more Christmas cards with you that I made last week, but I’m just getting around to posting. I’ve been crazy busy, but I’m officially DONE Christmas shopping and plan to be done wrapping in the next few days too… HUGE SIGH!  I got my new Stamps of Life Club Set and immediately knew how I was going to use it.  It’s called bear2stamp, and it’s “beary cute!”

bear2stamp

You can find it here at The Stamps of Life.

I decided to go with a Christmas theme and here’s what I came up with!

img_2167

The scarf, candycane and bird are all from TSOL and the tree die is from Memory Box (I think?) The reindeer is a veneer piece I found at Michaels that I colored and added a red nose to. I think this bear is super cute and I love the dies that come in the set too!  One of the dies cuts the hands, which is how I was able to make him look like he’s holding the candycane.

My next card is a scene I created using this Scalloped  Drop-In die by Sizzix/Stephanie Barnard that you can find here at The Stamps of Life. Drop in cards are so much fun!

img_2168

To make this card I painted my snow falling, then stamped, colored and die cut the house. (The house is a retired stamp and die set by Sizzix) I cut my trees using a die from Michaels and fussy cut my snow banks.  The snowman was made using a retired punch from Stampin’Up.  Lastly, I added some texturized snow and glitter and was done!  This card went together super fast:) The longest part was the drying time of the paint and snow.  What do you think?

Christmas Cards

Hello everyone!  I feel like December is already starting to slip by me…. Although we’re only a few days into December panic is setting in!  I feel like I need to step up my shopping and finish up my Christmas cards!!!  I have made a dent in the shopping, but still have quite a bit more to do.  Thank goodness for Amazon!  As for the cards, I have a couple I made to share with you today.

For both of my cards I used stamps and dies that were designed by Stephanie Barnard at The Stamps of Life and you can find all of the stamps & dies there.

My first card is a gatefold one that was simple to make using this die set with a cute little gingerbread man.  This stamp set was a club set over at TSOL a couple months back and I love it!

Next up, is a fun stand up card.  I just got this die set and love it.  Check it out here .  I only used the main dies in the set because I wanted to make a Christmas themed card using snowman2build stamp set and my Merry Christmas die. All of these stamps and dies can be found at TSOL in the link at the beginning of my post.
